It was in Makiling, Laguna in 1988 where the yearning for the founders own hotel establishment emerged form the sight of a tree house with a basement amidst the panoramic view of the mountains and the murmuring sound of flowing waters. This was the start of the long-term enhancement with tourism service.
Having the desire to venture into the hotel business, the founder made a study on the Marketing Operations of hotels on La Union, which she developed as her thesis in her Masteral Studieos in Business Administration. Her feasibility study was completed in later part of 1991. Having acquired insights from her thesis. The founder was confronted with great desire to establish and manage her own hotel and restaurant. After a myriad ordeals, the founder was able to come out for the utilization of the small piece of land of the Ubaldo's in Pagdaraoan, San Fernando, La Union, which was previously a make-shift-basketball court for the youth. Thus the Sea and Sky Hotel had its place within a small area which touches the rushing waves of the sea and beckons, to mountains nearby-areplica of the dream. The hotel and restaurant started its operatin on May 8, 1992.
Being located in a conspicious area which is very apparent to passerby both from Northern and Southern Luzon, it mustered popularity in short time. Moreover, its strategic location has made the establishment the venue for most regional conventions, conferences and seminar-workshops of both the government and private sector.
Today, Sea and Sky Hotel and Restaurant stands as one of the most remarkable hotels in Northern Luzon.
